There's truly a deep sense of fulfillment comes from participating in a Mountainfilm Intro. 

This was my second year for the festival, back to back, and I wanted to switch it up in style. Maybe I didn't really build a resume of "other" Mountainfilm intros to constitute a change-up of style...but I really observed so many intros over the years that I knew of the "formula", of the ethos that really works. I wanted to try stoking people out with almost angry, intense passion rather than feel-good warmth. 

It's not that feel-good warmth is played out, it just seemed like something I knew how to do.
